A Roman castrum and a lake
The Roman wall of the castellum and the chapel of Saint-Cyprien within it tell of the ancient town; the timber hoarding of the Château des Tours is a listed historic monument. The town covers 15.23 km² between the Saône and the Azergues, with the Colombier lake, a 64 hectare natural area.
