Silk merchants’ châteaux and four parks
The neo-Gothic Château du Vivier dates from 1880; the Greysolière manor has been listed since 1992 and the Maison d’Anthouard since 1975. The Brévenne aqueduct has been listed since 1945. Four parks and two ponds, four flowers since 2014. On 29 November 1269, Lyon burghers attacked the village and burned its church.
Campuses, head offices and shops
According to the town, over 1,600 establishments at the end of 2014 and some 12,000 jobs: the Lyon Ouest-Écully campus, École Centrale de Lyon among others, the SEB group head office on 6 hectares, the TECHTERA cluster. About a hundred local shops hold the centre; markets are on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday and Saturday mornings.
